Safari menu bug (or no bug)... please chime in

If any Safari users out there have a minute, please take a look at this thread in the Yuku Bugs Forum:

The issue I'm concerned about is the one about the dropdown menus at the bottom of the forum pages. It's odd because they seem to work under some circumstances, but not others. I believe the other issues mentioned in the lead post have been addressed.

 

If Safari users could chime in either in this thread or the one I've linked to, it'll help developers track down the problem.

Does not work for me either. OSX: 10.4.11 PPC, Safari: 3.04 (523.12). Installed all latest updates including latest version of java. Tried with clean safari preferences as well, so it shouldn't be just a setting. Works fine in firefox and all the browsers on my pc. I have an Intel mac at work, I'm interested to see if that has anything to do with it. I'll try it on Monday.

The drop-down menus work just fine for me, both here and at LL. I'm using Safari 1.3.2 on OS 10.3.9 both at work and at home.

The drop down menu at the top always works. The ones at the bottom only work when viewing a thread, but not when viewing a forum; and even then, they're pretty sporadic. The menu under each user also works sometimes, but there's no apparent rhyme or reason as to when or where.

 

I've got Safari 3.0.4 on OS 10.4.11

 

And then there's the issue of bouncing back and forth between post editors and the whole line spacing thing.

I think the line spacing thing might be fixed pending a push. There are so many duplicate threads in the bugs forum that's it's tough to figure out which one might answer the particular question I have in mind.

 

What to you mean by "bouncing back and forth between post editors"? Is this something you're forced to do manually or is Yuku doing something on its own?

Nah, it's just the thing where WYSIWYG and bbcode don't represent line spacing the same way. And so when a post made with WYSYWYG is edited with bbcode (and vice versa), the spacing gets all out of whack. So, if I want to edit something without it looking crazy, I have to switch editors to do it.
