If Rickie hadn't yet made an E in ST, I wouldn't feel any better about his D, so I definitely don't feel worse that he's made some E's.

Completely agree. I think it's fair to say he's always gonna be a very bad second baseman. He probably isn't gonna be any better or worse than last year. If he continues to be an above average offensive 2nd baseman I'd settle just having him be able to field the routine balls (ala Jeff Kent), and turn the tailor made double play which seemed to be a problem for him at the end of last year.

 

Prince could also help out the whole infield by doing a better job of digging throws out of the dirt. I don't recall him ever actually making a great dig.

I think the fields are a little worse in spring trainig also.
