Torres feeling "Better than ever"

Torres

"I have treated myself differently than I have treated myself in the past," he said. "I'm listening a little bit more to the trainers and to my arm. In the past, even though I had a little ache and pain, tightness, I didn't say anything.

"According to the way I feel, I'm ready to go," Torres said. "But then again, I have to be a soldier and listen to the [training staff] because these people are doing miracles with my arm this year. It's amazing what a rest here and there can do to a body. I'm feeling very optimistic about the way I feel."

Sounds good to me! I am all for having another arm 100%, anyone think he could overtake Riskie/Turnbow for the setup role if he proves well?

At this rate, I think any of 4 or 5 guys could be the setup man. If Turnbow can't locate his fastball, then he can't go with his breaking ball, then Riske, Torres, Mota, Parra, or even Villanueva could be options (though the latter two I'd prefer in the rotation)

It's nice we have this "problem." I'm sure Ned's said it already, but I'm waiting to hear more about how "this is a good problem to have" he loves that line.
