baseball card question

bando1234
So I have been colectiong cards for a while (28 years this year, seriously for 24 years). Once in a while I would get one with a mashed corner or creased right out of the pack. It usually a decent player too. I opened a pack of 2007 topps update today. Normally I would have been happy with the few rookies & the Damion Easley autograph but under the autograph was a 2007 all star game stiches A-Rod that was creased. I was curious if anyone ever complained to a card company & if the company did anything. Just curious to see if anyone got any where or if I would just be wasting my time complaining.

Don't buy many cards anymore, but one time I bought a box of cards that was supposed to have an autographed card in it (I think it was some Score product). I didn't get one and contacted the company via email including such info as where I bought the box and the serial number. A few weeks later, they sent me a package with two autographs (Chris Chambers was one) and a few other insert cards. I've heard that the entire process is hit or miss, depending on what company you are dealing with, and I don't know how the damaged card thing works. Now there's basically only two companies right?
