if this is guaranteed authentic...

what do you do to tell them it isn't? I told the seller it wasn't and I never heard back, I just hate how people do this, the picture he has with sheets' jersey on him, is different than the one he is selling, what a moron...

I'll grant that it's a misleading description--and showing a picture of Sheets doesn't help. But for one thing, the bidders are pretty keen on its real value. For now, the high bid is $21.00.

Down in the body of his text, he says he paid $150 for it, and he makes it clear that it's a size XL. People should recognize that it's a store bought jersey, and not game used.

As for suing the guy--it's really only up to the buyer to determine if he was damaged by the transaction--not a bystander.

Maybe let eBay know about him, but other than that, let the buyer beware.

I wrote him quick and gave him the 4 dead giveaways why it's not authentic (numbers not on front, authentic tag, mlb logo stitched in the back, and the shadowed/gold blue numbers, letters)...and tried to tell him that while it's a nice jersey, it's a replica and not authentic, and he might want to let the highest bidder know.

I have written to sellers before, and have always had positve responses, mostly thanking me for pointing out their errors. If you are polite about it, you might not get a reply like "you goofball" or "stop it clown"

Maybe I will get that reply as well, since I have no idea how either of you guys worded it, but whatever, I'm not bidding on it.
