Not sure who wrote in, was vaguely paying attention until I heard BF.Net. All I heard was "(person x) writes in to tell us that the guys at BrewerFan.net are listening in. Good to have you guys aboard." Or something of the sort.

The bf.net mention definitely included BA saying "our good friends at Brewerfan.net" and then Bill answered with a conversation about BBQ ribs.

By the way Woogie, holy crap with the graphics. I don't remember them looking that polished last year. Nice work.

Aahhhhh, baseball..........

Yay! Publicity! Who sent in the message?

All right! That may have been my e-mail, I told them to say hey to everyone here. Of course, in the 10 minutes I was away from my computer they responded to it.

Did they actually talk about the backup catcher thing or did they just mention the shoutout?

They talked about the backup catcher situation. Thats when Anderson did his Yost impersonation.

Bill and Jim talked a little bit about position battles this spring including back up catcher, but it was not related to your e-mail, although I haven't been paying extra close attention.

They answered it saying "good question", then briefly went over the candidates:

- Mentioning Rotino's versatility

- Mentioning Munson's left handed bat

Then went on to say Yost will probably take the play who performs the best in the spring

The person who sent the BF.net email had the name Frederick somethingoranother IIRC.

Neato burrito. derf = Fred backwards.

I feel so cool. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Gagne allows a run in his first appearance...I have to keep reminding myself it's barely the beginning of spring training, it doesn't mean anything.
