If anyone cares:

If nothing else, read what is in BOLD!

-Leave Milwaukee at 7am, Land in Vegas at 9am Saturday running on about 45 min of sleep from the night before and 2 hours on the plane

-Found out if you don't pay your cell phone bill for 2-3 months, they will shut it right off

-Wander around the MGM, Tropicana, and Hooters till my friends woke up (they arrived the night before)

-Found out The Dam Restaurant and their awesome $6.95 Prime Rib were both gone, very dissapointing

-Had a wonderful sammich at the Players Deli in the Tropicanna

-Went to Harrah's and entered poker tournament #1, $60 + $40 buy in bounty tournament, got one bounty but placed 15th, not in the money

-Back to the room (Tropicana) and then to Hooters to watch Tenn vs. Memphis

-Put money on Tenn (thery were getting 6 points!, haha) had an AWFUL burger at Hooters

-Back to the room at halftime and fell asleep for 45 min in the second half, found out later Tenn won, thank you Bruce Pearl!

-Headed to the Hard Rock to see Sarah Silverman's 11pm show, she was filthy and awesome, so was her opener, a writer for her show

-Left Hard Rock, cabbie offered to take us to a club where, well, i don't think i can say it here, but, yeah, headed back to the Trop instead for sleep after only 3 hours in the last 36

-Sunday morning, poker tournament #2, Imperial Palace $60 buy in, finished 3rd winning $192

-early in the tournament, a player to my right peed himself, yes, peed himself

-wandered over the Casino Royale and played the 100 hands of video poker machine at a penny a hand

-went to the Mirage, bet on horses with the silliest names on the board, didn't win a damn thing

-poker tournament #3 at Harrah's $60+$40 buy in bounty tournament, no bounties, finished 15th, no money

-played some "switch your cards" black jack (awesome!) and a new table game Triple Shot* (awesome!)

-Met friends at Sahara (much nicer than it was when we accidently stayed there in 2003)

-Took cab to downtown Vegas, first time seeing it in 5 trips

-Downtown Vegas = West Allis, NV

-Putzed around downtown a while, ate some CHEAP food

-Back to Harrah's and the carnival court with the #1 bartenders in the world, always a good time

-Some point made it back to the Trop for another night sleeping on the floor

-Sunday AM, poker tournament #4, MGM $65 buy in, finished at best guess, 70th

-"Breakfast" at Wichcraft in MGM, AWESOME, maybe the best sandwich of my life, meatloaf, cheddar, tomato relish, and bacon on a large roll

-wathced the end of the NASCAR race (that started the day before?)

-Auto Collection at Imperial Palace, awesome, if you ever need a $4,000,000 car, go here

-More Triple Shot at Harrahs

-Stopped back at Wichcraft for 2 more sandwiches, pulled pork (ok) and a prosciutto one (awesome) These were gifts for the lady back home, ended up stealing an ice bucket and ice to keep them chilled on the flight.

-Back to Tropicana, met some more friends who just got to town, shot craps for the first time, I am awesome, didn't throw the dice off the table once

-Went to Treasure Island to catch the end of the lame pirate show

-free 3rd row seats to Cirque Du Soliel's Mystere (thank you Jessi from Hardy's Hotties) While watching I had never felt fatter or more out of shape in my whole life, I have only seen this one show, but I am sure all the Cirque's are great and should be seen.

-Poker tournament #5, Harrah's, $150 Super Bounty tournament, best cards I played all trip but only managed 4th place, no money, but took 3 bounties at $50 each, thus breaking even in the tournament

-Back to room with 2 hours before I had to get up and go to the airport

-Flight delayed due to mechanical problems, hurray

-Slept from the time the strip was out of view in the window, untill we pulled into the gate in COLD milwaukee (Vegas was 60s daytime, 40s nighttime)

and that was my trip to Vegas, didn't make the Badger Bar, maybe next time

*Triple Shot, Single deck game. You must place 3 bets on the table, one for War, one for Black Jack, and one for Poker, they do not have to be even. You can bet you win all three games at 6 to 1. Round one, all players and dealer get one card face up, this is the War hand, ties pay .5:1 Bets are squared away, and everyone gets a second card to begin blackjack. Black jack is tweaked a little, you can only split aces, and only get one card on each. Blackjack pays 1:1. 6 cards and no-bust is a win. This is single deck, so you can count into it realllllly easy, sit all the way to the left on the table, saved me a few times by not hitting 16 with a loaded deck of face cards. The bets are squared away and you get however many more cards you need to get 6 total. You are betting against odds here, and hands of jack or better get paid. This game is a lot of fun, slow paced, and feels like good odds, even if they aren't.
